Today I drove for the first time on the big motorway! Not to toot my own horn, but I'm quite proud of myself. Especially because I hate driving on the interstate. Back in Salt Lake, I drove on the interstate once....by accident...at 5pm on a Friday...and that was the last time....almost 4 years ago. It wasn't a good experience. When we moved here 4 months ago, I never thought that I would be driving on the motorway. I drove my parents and the girls up to Mt. Cootha which is about 15 minutes from our house. Granted I've only done it once, but now I have the confidence that I can do it :).
Here is Aubrey at lunch. I think the chair really liked her hair.
View from Mt Cootha
The CBD. It's amazing that you can see the water from here!
Only 1 more day left with Grandma and PopPop. We will sure miss them.
And a special thanks to Aunt Molly and Uncle Jason for watching Mazie.
Great job with the driving! I can't imagine being in a strange land driving on the wrong side of the road and trying to drive on the freeway!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the driving. Way to go!! So glad you are liking your house and location.
ReplyDeleteAddy had Montessori camp this am. Jo had ballet. Then tried to fit in errands before we picked up Addy - bank, library, grocery store and post office. Jo is napping. Time to wash grubby Addy.
